70 years old male was undertaken axillo-bifemoral bypass with artificial graft before 1    month.

problem : continuous lymphatic discharge from right femoral wound

We did 3 times reoperation and then muscle flap operation on last time.

But daily drainage amount is about 200 cc.

What should We do ?

Could you tell me how to ?

Thank you in advance.

You need to left the wound open. Treat localy with doxicyclin to perform fibrosis of the lymphatic vessels. Desinfect only with Braunol, no H2O2 or ethanol, to alow granulation. Then close the wound. We have 1 case whit good result.

this is a frequent problem in groin wound area i do not know what you did in first reexploration ,you should have looked for the leaking lymph node or the lymphatic then ligated or cautrized now try putting irritant like bleomycin or doxy then put pressure bandage.

Local Tetracycline injection helps. You may need to do 1-3 injections followed by compression. It works very well.
